Opening - March - October
Onsite Facilities - Drinking water at every electric hook up point, waste disposal, 2 x washing up areas, 6 toilets, 4 showers, enclosed dog walking area, communal firepit and large open space.
Arrival/Departure
- Please arrive after 2pm and before 7pm on day of arrival.
- Please vacate your pitch by 11am on day of departure.
- Once you have arrived between 2pm and 7pm please call or message Alan on 07369 268901.
Noise
- To ensure that everyone has an enjoyable stay with us, the site operates a no noise policy between the hours of 10pm and 7am.
- Please be aware of your neighbours and respect that we are a family friendly site.
Barbeques and Firepits
- We are VERY keen for our visitors to BBQ and encourage the use of your BBQ at every given opportunity.
- No Disposable BBQs allowed.
- Coal is available to purchase on request.
- Please BBQ responsibly by ensuring that the BBQ is kept off the ground and always supervised.
- Firepits are available on request for hire during your stay.
- Wood is available to purchase on request.
- Please dispose of your cold ashes in the metal bin provided - located in the central shower/toilet block area.
Toilets and showers
- There are Six unisex toilets on site and 4 unisex showers on site.
- Toilets and showers will be regularly cleaned, please consider other users by maintaining the cleanliness of the toilets.
- Please inform management if there are any problems.
Washing-up
- The washing-up area is located next both toilet and shower area. One sink by each block is available with hot running water.
- Grey water waste is available in the central shower/toilet block location for you to dispose of any grey water.
Rubbish
- The recycling and refuse waste bins are located at the entrance to the site. Whilst staying with us, please support us by recycling where possible.
- Green Bin – all non-recyclable refuse including food Black Bin – Card, paper etc…
- Glass Bin – all glass Please help us keep the site clean and tidy during your stay and on departure by using the bins provided.
Electrics and Drinking Water
- Each pitch has 16-amp electrics and a drinking water tap.
Site Boundaries
- We are surrounded by a dyke on all sides of the campsite with fields all around.
- Please respect our neighbours by remaining on the campsite grounds only and ensure your dog is always kept on a lead to avoid running into the neighbouring field.
Covid-19
- We want to reassure campers that we will continue to closely monitor government guidance.
- We would encourage you to continue to follow government advice to wear a face covering in enclosed public spaces and that you are considerate of other campers.
Pitch location
- Your pitch will be allocated upon arrival.
- Pitches are clearly marked – please pitch your tent or locate your tourer as instructed.
- There must be at least 3 metres between pitches and therefore if you pitch within 6 metres of your neighbour you will be asked to move by the management.
- Cars must be parked next to your own pitch.
Dogs
- We welcome dogs at The Lazy Buzzards. Please ensure they are kept on a lead or long line always tethered to the ground. There is an enclosed space at the entrance to allow your dogs off lead.
Chemical Toilet Waste
- Chemical waste disposal is located at the site entrance.
Emergency procedure
- Fire buckets and sand is in the corner of the field.
- Please familiarize yourself with the fire procedures sign.
